it was probably just a decision the organizers made, rather than some covert deal between them and MS. Personally I think it was a good idea of theirs not to support Real Media. It's a shocking standard, who's only saving grace is small download times. I'd go for the windows media option anytime. :)

Locking operating systems out is a little odd, though maybe they just ran out of time to secure the site for anything other than windows.
