Well... I finished making a template for a rather complicated php script (complicated for me anyway)...

It validates as "valid HTML"... How bout that? :D All html coding and php programming was done in notepad...

Not bad for someone who has never made any page that validates as "valid HTML" by W3C.org .

Ok. I'm done...

We return to our regularly scheduled program...

I like the simplicity of notepad. Well the one in Windows2k. Notepad doesnt have the habit of trying to "fix" code that it "thinks" needs to be fixed like most HTML editors.

A color coding feature for programmers would be nice though :) In a way, notepad does have numbered lines. Which is very useful if you see an error on line whatever. Pressing ctrl+G allows you to go any line on the page.

I like older programs, yea, addmittingly they dont have all the bells and whistles, but I'm more productive with the simple programs than than the complex ones. I'm still using Front Page Express 2.0 to build webpages, and notepad to "fix" them. I hate nothing more than hand-coding complex tables in notepad...

Ohhhhh, thanks for the link studio64.

Just downloaded it and it looks really good (based on some messing around with it)... minus the nag screens . Now I gotta come up with $30 somehow.

Now I shoudnt forget those pesky, redundant, {} or ;= or ().
