Well...not to criticize...but you'd be way better off with a new header. That blue on green is really rather awful :P

Blue on green MUST go, otherwise the site flows well. IDK why, but the website reminds me of godaddy.com...it doesn't feel too unique to me, I think you need to add a little bit more of your taste. Then start advertising locally anyway you can, maybe hand out flyers, or go from business to business with a business card?

How long have you been hosting?

EDIT:

just visited godaddy.com , looks like you're reselling through them right?

Oh yes. Looks like a template. PLEASE fix the header and the PAGE TITLE WHICH GOES ON FOREVER IN CAPS LOCK. You can't get any more unprofessional than that IMHO. Unless the company name is an acronym there is no need for it to be in all caps, anywhere.

It looks like a godaddy reseller page, guys. IIRC, you don't have a whole lot of leeway on what the design comes out as... though I could be wrong.

We had a thing with them for domains a loooong while ago, and it was like that then anyway.

What are you offering that is different from the other 15,000+ budget hosts out there? When you can answer that question, you'll start obtaining customers.

I know that everyone has to start somewhere. But I highly suggest that you don't start with a GoDaddy Reseller. In my opinion, if I were to go to that website, I would just leave because I know that it is some type of cheap reseller.

Yes, that is a reseller portal site for godaddy.

1) You do not have anything that is "different" then the 20 thousand other web hosting companies you are competing with.

2) Hire a professional web designer. You can get cheap web design by looking in the "ads and offers forums" here.

3) Advertising. Once you have your "unique" product or service and your new website.. then you should consider to advertise in your local business area. Also try door-to-door in your local community, social networking events, business events, or just try throwing 10 thousand business cards off the roof of a high building in your area. Sure, you'll get arrested.. but you'll probably also get your picture in the paper along with the URL for your website.

I know this makes me sound a bit like an ***, but you have almost no hope if you can't dish out some cash to advertise. Even if you really do offer something the others don't, you're going to need to advertise it. The only thing that will save you is word-of-mouth advertising, and for that, you need to set up a strong company image and brand your company well. Remember, your startup is an investment. Don't be scared to put some money in if you know that your services will sell. Good luck :)

It's not a "template" as in a MonsterTemplate... however he is just reselling through GoDaddy. That's about it. :)

I think its all about advertising. You are too new and too small to have a reputation.

Its a crowded sector and you'll need to invest capital to start a serious web hosting business.

If I were looking to buy webhosting and I looked a your website then compared it to another companies, I would sadly say I would probbalyeven pay the extra 5$ that the other company is charging rather then choosing your services.

Now you have to think, why might this be?

Answer that and you will have a winner.

Kaylse, how can they answer something like that? You decided on this based on some impression you had, so isn't it up to you to explain..otherwise, what's your point?

Probably because you have no sense of value? What does site design have to do with the price and quality of the service?

It's called street appeal in real estate. Also the statistics that say people decide within seconds whether they like a site or not.

. . . What does site design have to do with the price and quality of the service?
Everything. It's about presentation and image. Your site quality must match your level of professionalism in the service you offer. If not, then you're selling yourself short, and will lose business.

Your site reminds me of a bulimic lepraucahn... My suggestion as always to this question is get two boards and some duct tape and stand outside of a super market...

A good looking web site is just as important as advertising. If you do advertising, and your web site looks like crap, none of the visitors from the advertising will be attracted to sign up with your service resulting in a loss.

Yeah, you really need to find what makes your business unique. If it's just cheap plans being resold through godaddy, don't expect a lot of customers to flock your way since you're competing on a playing field that is completely saturated.

Instead, I would recommend either concentrating on a specific market, say real estate, and go after those types of clients. In the end, you'll find that going after a select group of people is a lot easier and makes more sense then trying to target everyone...especially if you have a limited budget.
