Hi all i need help sooo badly, id be greatfull if someone can help, ok heres the scenario.

ok im working with css and heres the preview of how the font looks in IE:

and heres how it looks in FF,

i want it to be like in IE, or maybe vice versa, i need both to stay constant..., as otherwise the text moves out of the blue background area in FF. Ive applied all sorts.., font size in css, white spacing etc and nothing helps.

I suggest you do not bother with that. Rather just set the background to be dynamic hight.

eh..... what u mean? the background is the bluey bit u can see...., its seperate from the text and its another layer..., they dont work in conjuction with the background.

No what he means is to forgot about trying to make the text same size. Your layout shifts from IE to FF because the text pushes the layout down. The more text you put in there the longer it will get. He is stating that you forgot about trying to make the text the same and focus on setting you height that way it is the same size cross browser.

i see what you mean, but the text and layout is seperate, the text dosent push layout down, the layout is fixed. The text is different take closer look, the text has more spacing in firefox than in IE.

Do you have links to this on the internet? It is very heard to help you just off some pics.

ok i discovered something more to help those trying to help me....., the lines in the paragraphs showing in FF are bigger than in IE...., how can i reduce or keep the line spacing between both browsers consistent?
