Windows :(

Anyways, yesterday i was on the web bored, did my daily routines(check email, visit forums). So i was typing in random URLS, i tried the URL fastforums.com (i beleive), just to see what would come up. The page didnt even load to 100%, however the infamous blue screen appeared. Restarted the computer, and figured one of the programs that i was running caused the error. So i came to a couple message boards i goto daily (wht etc). And noticed that i had been logged out(in my options i request to stay logged in for a year).

I went to a few other message boards, and noticed i have been logged out of EVERY single one. I logged back in to all of them, went back to them about 10 minutes later to see if it did the same thing. And yes it logged me out on every board, now everytime i visit a message board i have to re-login, which IMO is a pain in the rear. Even if i come to WHT, goto my site, come back to WHT 20 seconds later, i am logged out.

Last night i said hmm, maybee some kind of internal browser error, so i installed IE6(HELL), and it still logs me out of every message board.

Any IDEAS WHY?
Thanks in advance!

Do you have your browser set to accept cookies? If so, with any message board you should stay logged in until you click on log out.

Or until you delete your Temp. Internet Files (cookies). That will log you out as well even if you didn't select that option. If this is still happening, it could be a corrupt temp file that is causing it and deleting all of them and starting over could help. Make sure your browser is set to accept cookies as has already been suggested and not set to delete them when you close each time.

I deleted all cookies, temporary internet files. And to no success still not working. Something is not right here... Any ideaS?

I looked for a setting on I.E explorer for enabling cookies, couldnt find it.

Im not exactly sure why this would happen as i never adjust settings etc.
