First off. I'm a web developer and design specialist (long name for a webmaster). I've been working primarily with companies in my local area, but I'm now moving to more internet sites.

Basically, I'm savvy when it comes to design and all, but not on the backend of servers. I have limited linux/unix exposure. I've been hosting a couple of sites on various servers. Right now my clients are paying close to $30/mo a piece, more than $200 total. I've been looking and researching options to have my own reseller, and just resell to my clients.

What I need:
PHP, .htacess, err pages, full cgi-bin, perl, ssl, telnet access, the usual stuff. I'd like as many features as possible.

I've been looking at MChost and voxtreme.
Can anyone on these accounts (other suggestions are welcome), tell me about the cpanels, setting up accounts, etc. Especially setting up SSL on these servers. SSL is essential to a few of my sites. My main concern with MChost is that I have read up and many people have complained about uptimes. I do need a server that isn't going down a lot because a few of my clients are really anal, so when the site is down for 5 min, i hear about it for a week.

i have 3 resellers plans with MChost for a few months now. They did have some downtime in the old data center from where their moving all their clients out to the new one now which has been great. Great service and great forums :)
