I am currently working on a tech site.. I will be design a custom index page (home page). I'll be posting tech news also plan to install a forum (phpbb or smf)

I just checked out the admin cp of e107, it seems like it has more features like downloads etc.. Joomla looks good too..

Which one do u recommend and why?

Joomla seems a lot more proffessional, also it's open source ( i'm not sure about e107 )

I havn't used either, but I was to choose, i'd go with Joomla, seems a lot more proffessional. :)
