Okay this probably sounds a bit stupid, a fellow host asking about hosting :D

Can anyone recommend to me a host with good uptime and support. We don't need anything to fancy just a small amount of webspace and bandwidth.

This is so we can host our help desk, support email and trouble shooting info off server. So if our system goes down customers can stay in touch.

I am not wanting to post this over in the requests forum for the simple reason that I don't want some half wit company coming along and stealing our customer information from the hosted site. This is why I would rather people recommended hosts to me.

I am considering VO but if anyone has any other ideas please let me know.

I would suggest venturesonline or hostmatters. I have been with both companies before and both are pretty good. :)

Seems like there was a request recently for where a host wanted to exchange services for just this purpose.
Sounds like a good idea to me.

VenturesOnline is excellent. I also used QWK.net for a while and they were very good. I've never used them, but Pair gets mentioned quite a bit as being top notch.
