I'm looking for merchant providers (resellers) for either Authorize.net or LinkPoint/Cardservice. I know there are a lot out there, but I was wondering if anybody knew a place that had great prices.

I just emailed a site... for authorize who charged...
$10 for service from merchant, $0.30 transactions from merchant, $25 for gateway fee from authorize, and another $0.15 per trans from authoize.net

I couldn't belive it! I called the up and asked them why it was so expensive and they said that, that is how much Authorize.net is now charging and they tried to give me some strange explaination for it. I even told her I already have a m.c., but she insisited on her explaination. That can't be true?

I just need some recommendations to check out. Escpecially so I don't run into websites like the one above.

I have seen arthorize.net for as low as 19.00 month but yeah they do charge those fees. Do you have a merchant account already? If so go and sign up direct. If not you will find most merchant accounts charge those fees.

A a low level authorize.net reseller I can tell you that those fees are prtty much standard. Except for the high volume/ bank partners, most companies dont actually get to play with the monthly or trnsaction fees, profit is made off the application fee and a monthly cut.

Currently I pay only my merchant for my account. I dont pay any fees to the backend besides the setup fees. So I dont get charged twice like from authorize.net

And I've found serveral places that don't charge $25/month for authorize.net gateway (usally it is $10/month) and I've never seen another site that charages an addtional $0.15 per transaction from authorize.net, only the trans from the merchant.

If your paying the fees that I described above, than you should probally resign up under and different company because that seems to be the high end.

Does all of this allow you to make transactions via the internet and it goes straight into a bank account of some sort?

Charge.com has a reseller plan. They give you $100 for each account, at least last time I looked. You might want to check them out.
