I have a domain on 1and1, but I'm not sure if they'd let me create nameservers from my VPS IP addresses? In your experience - will it?

Also, does anyone know of any registar that does allow it? ty
Options I'm given on 1and1:

First, you want to create nameservers in your VPS (i.e. install & configure BIND or similar DNS software), only then go to your registrar and put them into fields where they belong...

Yes, 1&1 allows you to add nameservers. Just add them as a subdomain to your current domain. This is what I did with my domain.

I also know any DirectI reseller lets you add nameservers.
