Hi. I'm not going to lie, I am a newbie to web design. What I want to do is set up a website that will allow me to accpet money for memebrships to my site via main credit cards, paypal, etc. Essentially, the software would be like one on a pornographic site, although my website is not even near that subject matter. Can anyone help an eager to learn newbie by recommending hosting companies, software, etc??? I live in Canada if that is important. Thanks

For billing/memberships you can't really beat www.ccbill.com or www.ccbilleu.com if you're in Europe.

For hosting www.webair.com are very hard to beat and they have a very good reputation on adult webmaster boards.

If your site has anything of an adult nature you're very unlikely to be able to use Paypal.

What's your exact content? You could implement PayPal almost immediately with no start-up fees but PayPal is very strict when it comes to adult content.

The site is essentially one that allows users to sign up and crete their own blogs, not the personal ones on myspace but business related, but to have more online space, they must upgrade and get a paid memebership...thanks
