Hi, hopefully this is the correct forum to ask about a site building tool... What are the best web-based homepage building tools out there right now?
We're looking for a tool for a youtube-like system. Visitors will be able to build their homepages using this tool and easily have their images, videos & files incorporated into their homepage. Maybe a button on the homepage building tool's interface for "add videos" and all the thumbnails of their videos are added. Something to that effect.
Basically we need a homepage building tool that can easily have this tiny integration. We're willing to pay the vendor to do this as well.

I recommend www.sitezen.com
Ask them to do a custom modification to implement the desired functionality you mentioned.

Thank you mrzippy. siteZen looks very nice. Are there any other good ones out there I can compare it with? Ideally the sitebuilder app is extensible with an api or module system so that we don't have to reintegrate it everytime there's an update to the software.

Try www.Soholaunch.com. Our own customers have been raving about it ever since we introduced it to our web hosting packages.

I'm very impressed with what I see so far in features, client webpages, plugins, skins, etc. Anxious to see a demo of some kind now. This appears to be exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks icestorm!
They even have a website devoted to plugins & templates:

I can support Icestorms recommendation.
We and many customers from the age of 11-70 have been using Soholaunch to update their websites. All give us the feedback that its extremly easy to use.
There are many CMS installations out there and before we choose for soholaunch we have tested around 25 different ones, from big to small, than... 2 years ago we found Soholaunch, which was at that time basic, but allready great to use, but now 2 years later is definitly the best CMS out there and i won't even consider any other system.
Most important is the support and continues updates you get and that are available. Specially with that new addons website im looking forward to see all new mods that can help us implementing any special kind of applications our customers would like.
With other words, if you offer this to your customers, im sure all will be very happy, and you don't even need to give them any training to start using it! great video tutorials are available, forum, etc.

Another one you may want to consider is rvsitebuilder (www.rvsitebuilder.com). I've played around with it and it seems to be quite easy to use.
