Hi ,

I have visited websites of Ensim and Ev1 as Iam shopping for new CP. After seeing their 50 features list , I thought i need to get an idea about it. Maybe this will be a place where i can get an unbiassed feedback.

Thanks in advance

Daris

Do you need Ensim for *nix or for Windows?

Do you need Ensim for *nix or for Windows?

Not yet decided.....which CP I am going to buy....evaluating all..

However I am open to the suggestions..

Do you recommend anything?

First of all you need to decide if you need a Windows server or Linux one. Then you can start evaluating control panels. It does matter.

Looking @ the security, reliability and efficiency point of view I will prefer to go with Linux.

Do you guys support Linux OS??

Thanks in advance.

At present our panel does not allow to manage Linux servers. So... now we can recommend to try out DirectAdmin panel for Linux servers.

I 100% recommend DirectAdmin(those guys are the best).

You can get this for $10/month from alot of companys

Another vote for DA. Fast and stable. For the end user, just as feature rich as any other CP.

This looks to me as a self promotion campaign from DA and dotnetpanel. Daris decide what you require and what you need....

Dear Signature,

1. How can it be our self-promotion if we recommend to buy other control panel?

2. At present you have 8 posts at WHT forum. And all of them are in "Hosting Software and Control Panels" section. And all the posts are seems to be quite meaningless, sorry.

Let me be meaningless.... thats the impact I have when I face competition. Anyways... when u promote other CP(not of yours) then u are representing which one you recommend. Thats what everybody will assume.

I could show an example of it. however, that post has been deleted.

Thanks,

Huh? I'm a (happy) end user of DA. I have no affiliation with them or any stake in their company. I could care less what panel some other hosting company decides to use, but I don't mind speaking about how DA has worked out for my business.

What are you talking about? The OP wants a linux control panel and most people have recommended Direct Admin to him - what's wrong with that? DotNetPanel recommended DA - they don't even produce a panel for linux.

There are better ways to increase your post count :peace:

WHT is getting so crazy strict now a days.

Is there any other more relaxed webhosting forums?

Thanks to all.. to share the experiences and helping me to make the
decision of buying the control Panel.

Considering my requirements and the market scenario........ I guess I should try
the latest release of ensm......Ensim Pro X for Linux .

Hope it will work up to my expectations..

Daris.

I thought you decided to buy a linux panel and went against everybody's recommendation of DA and chose Ensim.

Now you want a windows panel? What is it to be??

DotNetPanel

It seems, you need to hire a person who'll manage your server. And allow him/her to choose the OS and panel. It is going to be the best way.
