Does 2checkout call for confirmation everytime someone makes a transaction?

As far as I know they do not call to check every transaction. I have never heard of them doing anything like this. The check IP's to addresses and a few other things.

They are pretty good at spotting the "high risk" orders. If you get one of those in an email and you dont get anything else from them for 24 hours about that order its supposed to be the order was ok after all - but its up to you if you want to fill it or not. Saying that weve had an email 36 hours later after getting a high risk order email and being told the order was refunded due to fraud but its meant to be 24 hours :)

If they called for every transaction I would be forced to kill them...:mad:

They usually only send out emails for *high risk orders* e.g. IP doesnt match country they provide, phone doesnt go with cc, etc. Their fraud screening had been fairly lack luster, but they've improved it greatly within the last few months or so.

We call to verify orders for a number of reasons.

~Some cards do not have all the information on them that we ask for (bank phone number, cvv2 code).
~New accounts need to be verified that the customer is actually receiving the goods they are being billed for before we issue a 1st payment to the seller.

...and of course, for any of the "high risk" elements described above.

they called us for a transaction we made several weeks after the deal and just asked if we got waht we paid for...i was shocked but it was nice someone would do that

Is 2checkout.com better than Charge.com? Or are they even the same features... ?
