Has anyone considered or tried advertising a web hosting company in software that runs ads such as Opera? Opera seems to be a good deal to me but $400 minimum. Still the ads are held there for 45 seconds or so and you can't scroll past them etc. I don't know if anyone looks at the ads though I know I don't look much.

How frequently do you click on ads in Opera? Or anywhere for that matter? Maybe its just me but I know for fact that I have only clicked on one click through ad in my entire life, and my Internet life pre-dates web browsers.

Are people interested in web hosting more or less likely to click on ads?

I don't know the answer to this question, its just a question.

If I'm interested in a product I will click on banner ads.. I've spent a couple hundred at X10.com because of their ads.
