Have you yet? thebigH 07-29-2006, 04:32 AM Hi JSF, Please let me know how was your experience with merchantmetro? Did you go with them? JSF2000 07-30-2006, 12:59 PM Yes I went with merchant Metro. This is how it went : June 22 : Payment for setup fee is transfered to Merchant Metro. July 1st : Heard nothing from Merchant metro yet. Requests them to confirm receipt of setup fee. July 6th : An account at "UniClear" (www.uniclear.com (http://www.uniclear.com)) is opened in favour of my company by Merchant Metro. We start to integrate the payment gateway in the website, only to realise that "UniClear" gateway is not active. July 11th : Message from UniClear/Merchant Metro : Sorry for the delay in response. We're still working to enable our merchant processing, I'll let you know as soon as you should try again. July 13th : Requesting a date for the finalization of the account / their gateway activation. July 14th : Message from UniClear/Merchant Metro : I'll let you know as soon as it happens. I am unsure as well. July 17th : Informing Merchant Metro to get their problems solved by the 21st or cancel the order. July 24th : Instructing Merchant Metro to cancel the order and return setup-fee. July 28th : Merchant Metro deposits the setup-fee into the "UniClear" account which was opened in favour of my company leaving the bill of the bank-wire transfers to and from my company's bank account with me. I'll give Merchant Metro the price for most unproffesional company I've ever dealt with! Offering a service which they don't have is completly unacceptable! thebigH 08-10-2006, 01:15 PM Hey, I have talked with these guys but found pretty quickly that they are scam because they rejected to take credit card payment. They sent me very lucrative emails and I needed them badly but my last email to them was... "What you are running is called "Advance fee fraud". I am surprised how people fall for you."
