I Have it down to a few hosts and need assistance
in ranking them.

Please indicate on a scale of 1 to 10 what you think
OVERALL of each of these hosts or the hosts you
have had experience with.

Be brutally honest here in your ranking. If one or more
of the below hosts are absolute a@@holes...please
let us ALL know.

Well, you can search for some of these and find comments already posted on the forum. I'm not sure what the value of having people rate hosts they've had no experience with (seems rather pointless and just about the worst way I can think of on how to pick a host, sans just choosing the top one off a paid top25 list). If you don't find comments about a particular host here, you should search elsewhere. Sometimes no news is good news, so no comments might not be a bad thing.

I want fresh info...not historical info.

What I have learned with Avail is that these hosts (especially
in the current economic environment) change daily.

A host might have been great 4 months ago, but now due to poor revenue and poor employee moral might be awful.

The ranking will help me in my own way Chicken. I dont want a lot of fluff...just a number.

So with that said ....can you guys reply with any rankings of the
hosts you are FAMILIAR with....5 seconds of your time...thats all I need. :)

Akashik = "-(-) 500"
Hosting Matters = 1x-3y = 4(2)
TechArk = For this I would use Bernoulli's equation. More information found here:

Insider Hosting - 0%. Give or take a few 100%.

capetown, if you want more advise, list what you are looking for. Ex.. rate them 1 out of 10 -against each other?. Rate them in service and support. Give them two thumbs up. Etc... What criteria are you looking for? Service vs support vs. price.

As Chicken pointed out, it seems very vague.

I have to disagree, UmBillyCord's sense of humour is great - makes reading WHT much more entertaining.

He has been quite humorous of late. And I always find humor a refreshing break from the bickering we often see on this board.

I PURPOSELY wanted a simple answer to my question on ranking the hosts I mentioned...dont start a flame war because there is a topic that you dont like or cant comprehend.

Whether you have posted 1 time, 100 times, or 10,000 times, if the question is so flawed that members cannot possibly reasonably answer it, then people can't answer it.

Welcome to try for round two, however questions need to be structured in such a manner that an answer can be given. Seems obvious, however often times people post vague questions which either cannot be answered or threads in which the results are useless.
