Dear Group,
I had about six web sites and am now going to migrate to a dedicated server. I finally got a handle on all the different email addresses by using a program called ePrompter. But it is not perfect. So when I get the dedicated server and have even more email addresses to deal with, how can I keep them straight? What is the best email client for people like us who are managing emails from dozens of sites on our laptops each day.
EPROMPER - good but I hate the sig file. It is free but you can't buy a version to get rid of their sig file, which advertises them.
OUTLOOK EXPRESS - handles one email address great but does not handle multiple ones well.
OUTLOOK FULL VERSION - can handle multiple email addresses but the way you have to sign on one at a time is tedious and terrible! I won't use it again.
WHAT OTHER PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE?
I want something as nice as eprompter but without the ads.
Thanks!
Bradley

Check TheBat! IMHO this is the best mail client. You can put as many accounts as you like and it is highly costumizeble and easy to use.

Nothing that I've ever tried has even come close to beating TheBat! for POP3 mail.

I decided to switch to IMAP a couple weeks ago and it just can't do it. I am pretty much using SquirrelMail's webmail now and I do all my filtering on the server with Maildrop and I've hacked up Squirrelmail pretty bad to do what I want but now I'm (finally) happy.

If you use POP3 for getting mail it's gonna be tough to find something better than TheBat!.

Hey!

I've not used ePrompter or The Bat so I can't compare, but I use the free ("sponsored") version of Eudora (www.eudora.com) and it manages my dozens of email accounts really well.

It's available for Win and Mac.

Good luck on your search.

Outlook Express handles multiple e-mail addresses with no problems. Why do you think it can't handle multiple e-mail addresses?

And there's always Eudora http://www.eudora.com/ - oops, I see that's been mentioned. It handles multiple addresses cleanly enough.
