View Full Version : Is it possible to charge the customer for unsuccessful renewals???

I have a domain at registerfly.com and it was going to expire in May, 2006. I tried 2 times to renew my domain but both the 2 times i was failed to renew the domain. After that i created an another account, pushed the domain to this new account and tried once more time to renew it. And it was renewed!

The problem is now my credit cardīs bill show me that i was charged 3 times with registerfly.com, 1 times for a real renewal, 2 times for 2 failed renewals. How is that possible to charge the customer for something you dont do??? Right after that i opened a support ticket to registerfly, till now itīs already 2 weeks and I got no response from them. Today i realized that my case is closed by the automat system! :angry:

How could i get my money back? Any advice is appreciated.

Contact your credit card and ask them for more details I would imagine.
