I read on several threads here that you can upgrade a RAQ3 to 500Mhz by putting a AMD 550Mhz processor in.

Does this operation need any modification on the Motherboard/socket ?

Can this be done on a RAQ3 as well as on a RAQ3i ?
Anyone have first hand experiences they like to share doing this ?
