Okay i know all about the Modern Bill program and i am going to use that with my cPanel/WHM, but i am really confused with Merchant Accounts and supscriptions.

I have a paypal account and know i can get online payments through paypal, but i dont understand how every month I get the money for the hosting.

Ex. Lets say i get a Mechant account not a paypal account, and a consumer buy a hosting plan from me and it cost around $5. Every month is $5 taken from there credit card, or do they have to go back into Modern Bill everytime and input there credit card information and pay for it.

You can setup batch payments with modernbill. It keeps the customers creditcard details encrypted on file and bills them when you run batch.

A merchant account has lower fees than paypal etc aswell as giving you more control since you would be in direct contact with the card vendors instead of dealing with paypal being a 3rd party. But it is a preferrence thing for both you and your clients some may wish to pay with paypal or credit card
