I have been with a hosting company for about four years and have simply grown sick of their lack of service. I have two servers that I co-locate there and am looking to move to a company that is cost effective and has excellent service.

I am currently receiving about 200 gigs of transfer a month and pay $6/gig so the total bill after paying for the servers has been about $1,200 a month.

I know there are hundreds of companies out there now, any good recommendations on someplace that may have equal or better prices but yet have great support and reliability? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Bryan

http://www.4webspace.com is great because you get 100GB's of transfer, but that's on a RaQ. If you don't mind the RaQ, their bandwidth is pretty cheap.

You might wanna check-out http://www.can-host.com

Im not sure about the prices but when it comes to support Felix Courtemanche and the support-team really answer your e-mails fast, usually within 30 mins.

in my opinion, a raq couldnt handle 100 gigs / month unless it was a super high end rack, which would be pointless, as a decent dedicated server would be better

anyhow, I recommend getting a dedicated server somehwere.. like maxim, or colocate your own built server

I was only pointing at can-host because they also have a co-location-plan, and I think that's what you're looking for right - a co-location plan?

Have you ever conciderd a dedicated package rather then co-location, Makes more since cost less and you still have the control.usually this is done in the control panel of your managed or unmanaged.
