How is Verio shared hosting, except that it is expensive. How is the speed and support?

If you mean the Verio VPS, I can highly recommend them. We have had our site on one of these machines for over 2 years with absolutely no problems whatsoever. These machines never have problems.

Plus the support is spot on, and very fast.

Expensive, yes, but I would never host my own sites anywhere else.

I have a couple clients with Verio and have had no complaints.

I've not used Verio as a customer, but as a Verio reseller I've found their support to be excellent and the shared hosting ("Signature Hosting") to be great. Their VPS hosting is also fantastic (and expensive, yes!).

Apart from one major issue lasting 6 hours or so, we have had a few short periods of unavailability over the last 12 months - generally a few minutes at a time, and generally only a specific service (HTTP/FTP/POP/SMTP) rather than the whole machine.

I'd certainly recommend them.
