I host many users/virtual domains.
I would like the ability to offer a shopping cart, but do not want to install a new instance of something like OSCommerce for each and every one of my customers.

What do these web hosting companies do ?

What control panel system are you using? If you have some additional details on the type of platform you are running, that would be very helpful to know.

Some control panel systems like Cpanel and others offer options for automatic setups for shopping cart systems like osCommerce and others. So it may be possible to work an automated setup tool into your existing system.

The other possibility would be to use a shopping cart & gateway system that is hosted centrally by a 3rd party and form a partnership with them to resell that to your clients.
