I was reading the forum last night and was closely following the thread on racklocation.com - today I cannot find it?

Has this post been censured by the powers that be???

I also asked if Uptime gaurantees were worth anything?
When I mentioned that I was disappointed that racklocation only offered 99% uptime, two people replied that uptime gaurantees are not honored anyway, and that they are worthless.

I then asked if anyone knows if Dialtone, Rackspace, Catalog, or Terra-byte honors their uptime gaurantees, and if so, what the typical remedy is and when it is evaulated. (i.e. if they don't meet their promise of 99.9% uptime during a month, do you get a month free, or is it typically averaged over 6 months, or...)
And finally, I wanted to know if people with these hosts have ever been credited (or whatever the remedy is for not meeting an uptime gaurantee) due to the hosts own reporting or awareness rather than because of having to complain or demand...
