I am also thinking about using 2checkout but have heard that they are under some sort of investigation. Is this true?

Where did you hear that? You know Vik?

Hi,

Thanks for your swift reply.

Just from messages boards and through the grapevine.

Was such a message on this messageboard but vanish before
I could make a reply.

I am looking for a relaible payment processor and doing some research
on the best one.

Who is Vic?

anon-e-mouse
06-07-2006, 09:44 PM
I believe you are Vic. What say you?

Chel2000

You are losing me.

Do you use any payment processors that you can recommend?

Chel2000

Ahh, no reply.

I think you are either a 2checkout employee or have a vested interest in the company.

What say you?

This should get interesting

IMO 2CO serves a niche market and as such does not fit all business models, but works wonderfully for those it does.

Disclaimer: Not an employee and no vested interest in not slamming 2CO...

None of the above and I have never used it.

Thank you for your comment that is at least relevant to the subject and Vic-free.

However, I will seek information elsewhere as the replies I am getting from
this messageboard are making little sense.

I think you and the 'mouse' person are buddies. What say you?

If you have never use it, why are you replying and wasting my time?

Does anyone get any sensible replies from asking straight forward questions on
this messageboard or just 'smart, silly and totally irrevant' replies?

We use 2Checkout and find their service to be great, although customer service can be a little slow at times. They had to suspend DEFT payments to Canada a few months ago, however it will be back this month which is good news.

As for anon-e-mouse, she does not work for 2Checkout and it's probably in your best interest to not start anything with her. :)

Jalopy blue the purple cat juxtaposes.

Bling Bling was the umbarage of the quinsetential septuptlet.

Rastafarian Oblisque pelts the wet dry wash.

That non-sensical enough for ya?

And there is no more unbiased person than the Mouse. Oh, and I recommend CDG Commerce, but since you're kind of copping an attitude, you'll have to search for them.

Great day you have not!

We work with 2checkout and have no problems. They delay the first payment (for 1 month as I remember) but then everything works ok. Of course, they check payments for frauds and sometimes don't accept payment if it's "suspicious" and ask payer to sign and fax a document. Sometimes they do it with legitimate payers that we don't like. Overall it's a good service, on my opinion.

Shame. This messageboard seems to represent the very narrow-minded views of a group of 'Vic obessed' control freaks.

I believe one of you is 2checkout's CEO. What say you?

Which opposition company are you from Victor? You have created two names today and crossposted in many 2checkout threads with both names. We don't need to explain ourselves, you do. You clearly have an agenda, and it isn't looking pretty from where I sit.

Well, thanks for all the mindless banter.

I am leaving the school playground now.

I do not think any of the messages on this board are worth reading.

Bye children. Here is someone for you to play with.

Mousey,

This 'Vic' must have really rattled you as you don't seem to be able to get through
a message without referring to it/him/her.

Strange! You and your mates appear to be desperately trying to cover something up and that does not look good from where I sit. Your 'trying to discredit me' ploy is running a bit thin.

What say you?

All I did originally was ask a simple question.

Look I am getting more professional replies from other message boards etc so lets call it a day.

No hard feelings.

Tut Tut Douglas,

What happened to the 'being polite' rule? You also forgot to
mention 'Vic'.

You people certainly seem to have some mental issues.

Looks like I inadvertantly opened a 'can of worms' with my original
question.

Did Mousey and mates get Vic's message removed? Looks like Vic
definitely knew something.

Thought that the 'investigation' mentioned in my original message was
just a wild rumour but now from the replies I have received I am no longer
sure.

What say you?

06-08-2006, 09:02 AM
Can someone clarify what a "vic" is?

Douglas
06-08-2006, 09:12 AM
A|J, prolly some rabble-rouser.

Chel1980, I'm not a fancy red or green hat. If this were on the chat server, then I would probably care more. And I'm not involved in this inquiry/investigation, so that's why I have yet to mention any other names.

I'm here, purely for the comedic relief your inane musings are providing me. For some reason, your posts are very cryptic, much like Yoda (from Star Wars, for those that are uneducated).

I provided a company name within my original post. I provided something useful, what you do with that information is ultimately up to you. There is only so much hand holding we can do. At some point, you have to be smart and brave enough to make that big bold decision to actually do some homework.

Oh, and to your "Be Polite" uttering, all I shall say is:

Quid pro quo.

Chel2000
06-08-2006, 09:58 AM
I think we all would like to know what a Vic is?

From the replies I have had to my original simple question, here seems
to be the rules for making an answer.

1. Don't bother attempting any constructive reply.

2. Accuse the author( ie me) of any wild accusation you can think of.

3. Always end this accusation with the phrase: 'What say you?'

4. Insert the word 'Vic' at least once in your reply.

5. Get as many of your mates as you can to back you up.

6. State that you have nothing to do with the company and
then a couple of messages later, make a detailed reference to
their opposition.

anon-e-mouse
06-08-2006, 10:21 AM
Victor, it is you that needs to answer questions. Why are you are on this witch hunt against 2checkout, why don't you say who you really are, why don't you admit your association with ewmerchant?

Chel2000
06-08-2006, 11:17 AM
Mousey,

From where I am sitting, I think this Vic made statements that did not conform to your highly bigotted viewpoint.

I was just expecting a simple 'yes' or 'no' to my original statement with probably about a line or so of explanation should a member wished to provide an answer.

There was no compulsion to answer.

Instead, you have not stopped since your first revolting reply.

Instead, you and your mates are clearly attempting to dominate and control this messageboard.

Apparently, 'freedom of speech' does not sit well with you.

I have given up expecting any sensible dialogue here so you can congratulate yourself on achieving that.

Instead, I now view myself as a freedom fighter against your forces of tyranny.

What say you?

Care to Share which forums, I went on the main webhosting forums and unable to find your threads.

If your getting these replies then leave. The Community Leaders are Wise enough and 99.9% Accurate on Users.

If you are associated with EWMerchant; then what goes around comes around.

At first, I believed Chel2000 to be a foreigner with little education in the English language. Yet, as the thread has progressed, he seems to be writing to a much greater degree of English standard. This leads me to believe that Chel2000, whomever he may be, was attempting to disguise his identity.

I must say that I find this thread to be completely hilarious. Yes, we like to play around on these forums, mess with people's minds and whatnot, but I've never seen someone become quite so offensive because of it.

Personally, I'm going to agree with Mousey here and assume that you are an ex-EWMerchant employee who has it out for 2CheckOut.

Regardless, I thank you Chel2000 for the many laughs you have provided me today.

What say you? Haha, too funny.

Why don't you repeat what Vic said here?

What do you have to lose? Money? Status?

Just located a message which I think is Vic's.

Can now see what you are on about and why you are so scared.

Quickly, mousie, you have got to find it and bring it under control.

Start loading your 2checkout chums into the trusted campervan.

Thin guys inside, fat guys on the roof.

You have got to bring this under control as it looks like the Vics
