Greetings,
My company ends up taking over hosting for clients from other hosting companies on a regular basis. And of course, the site migration ends up taking a fair bit of time.
As it is now, I end up FTPing into the clients old account, transferring everything to my local machine, then uploading it to their hosting account on our servers. Obviously this isn't optimal (especially for large sites), due to it being transferred twice, plus the files end up with wonky permissions.
So my question is:
Do you guys know of any linux tools that will slurp down all the files in an FTP account quickly, and with minimum configuration? Keeping the directory structure and such? Is this something that wget will do happily?
Thanks guys!
