Hey, I'm new here. I'm trying to get into the WebHosting business but don't know where to start. So I'm kinda wondering how everyone here got started and what they did to make it work. What do I need, how much, stuff like that.

The first thing you should do is aquaint yourself with the forum rules (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/misc.php?s=&action=forum-rules).
Another helpful link is the Search (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=) button.
Read through the threads that explain everything. Then come back and ask questions on what you don't fully understand.

Sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like I was advertising my site...Was just saying that was where I was from...Sorry again.

I certainly understand. I don't think anyone stops at the Rules page when they first get here.
Although I did. But that may be because I was unfamiliar with forums. I still go back on occasion and make sure they didn't slip a new rule in every once in a while. ;)
On the other hand; the Search function of this board can be a great tool.
Hi and a warm friendly welcome to you Radon3K

I'm sure it would make the moderators jobs a lot easier.
Maybe it should be someone kinda fruity to be the greeter.

Hi, thanks for the welcomes. I'm quite familiar with the search feature, and it does come in handy a lot. I'll use it when I have specific questions, right now I'm just kinda seein what all is involved... :)

Why don't you go look aroung in the "Running a Web Hosting Biz" forum. You'll find a lot of useful information on how to start your web hosting business. GOOD LUCK!
