Hi,

I am not sure if this the right place to post this request, but if needed, Mods please move it, thank.

One of our customer want to use is server to enable Video Conference between Central America and Europe, it's only to connect time to time with is family and friend.

He told us that Yahoo, MSM, IICU, CUseeMe are to busy and noisy and then have a very bad connection.

Somebody knows a CHEAP solution to enable Video Conferencing on a server?

Or any alternative solution? They don't have dedicated IPwith their IPS.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

right place.. I dunno - right board... probly not.

Regardless we have offices across the world and use polycom products to vc with different locations. They have a solution that is essentially a high quality webcam that connects to a pc running windows and runs their custom application. It works well for us and integrates seemlessly with their other stand alone hardware solutions.

Video and sound quality is quite good - excellent over a t3 to our el paso location and t1's to our other locations, and ok over a fractional 'e1's to our offices in france.

you'll obviously need two of these - I believe they're at $200 a piece (at least that's what we paid)
