Does anyone know how much to costs to buy SQL server.
We are going to be setting up windows reseller and windows shared hosting and have been thinking about sql server.
Could someone please tell me how much it is?

There are different licensing options for SQL Server. The "unlimited concurrent user license", which is pretty much what you need ... starts at around $15,000

MS SQL 2000 Standard Edition works perfectly well as a sherd hosting solution,

SQL Server 2000 Enterprise, IMHO, is much better for high resource environments, but it will run you up about $15-$20,000.

Standard Ed. costs somewhere in the range of $10,000
