My hosting service will be starting soon. I would like to advertise and am looking into getting a showcase at hostsearch.com. Is this advisable or not? Thanks, Andrew

Hello there, well not a bad choice but are you sure you have the right budget for it?

Though my budget is limited I do have the funds to get a showcase there and another place. I am just trying to use that ad money as efficiently as possible. I would love some suggestions.

there has been some posts about hosting advertising options. you should check the existing posts on this board. please also consider pay-per-click search engines etc.

From what I heard - HostSearch.com are quite good if you have the budget.

Some of the domain extensions may be incorrect. Some may .net, etc. I will post a list of about 20 sometime tonight.

Well, I decided to see what would happen with hostsearch.com. They gave me a really good deal so hopefully it was well worth it. I will tell you in a month.

When a user first visit your site, set a cookie with the value equals to the referrer.

On your sign up form. send along the referrer cookie. ;)

The only catch is if he use ANOTHER browser or PC to make the purchase...but it's better than no Info.
