tomxkite 06-03-2006, 05:57 AM I have been cribbing about Etelegate and Maturebill for the longest. Lately they are responding to the support questions, so may be there is still some hope. The last time they paid was in March, nothing since then. The amount owed is, lets just say, it is not a small amount.
Failsafe Payments 06-03-2006, 08:27 AM I cant belive that anyone is still using eTelegate/Maturebill after all the warning signs for a very long time now.
Even less I understand people using solutions that doesnt pay yet merchants still process with these providers.
tomxkite 06-05-2006, 01:48 AM Right! I expected a lot more responses and complaints about etelegate/maturebill on this and similar forum. Due diligence didn't come out as bad, some of the bigger pr0n providers are/were using them so there was some history.
In any event, once you start with them, no payments are due for 4 weeks, so it takes about 5 weeks before you find out that there is a payment issue. In our case, they paid for first two or three weeks and then stopped. It coincided with IBill-etelegate deal so we probably gave them the benefit of the doubt. I would have pulled the plug on the first sign of delay but the powers to be decided to stick it out a bit longer.
So are the vagaries of third party processing!
steven-v 06-05-2006, 03:52 PM you must be kidding me - somebody still using them ?
noname78 06-07-2006, 09:56 AM i am also one of the etelegate victim!
that company hold more than usd$2000...
Please not use them!
KGIII 06-07-2006, 10:48 AM Interesting... To say the least. Wasn't there a class-action against them at some point? I rooted, before posting this, but didn't see anything. I was so certain that they'd had problems before that when I saw this I was pretty surprised that they were even still in business because, as I understand it, they took some serious cash from some rather serious business owners.
Without using the word "crime" in the following sentence... It was my understanding that a lot of large businesses that were globalized and very organized were using them for various payment processing methods both internally and externally. If they're still going and they're still scamming merchants then I'm pretty amazed given some of the content that they did billing for.
I think I'll follow this a bit more closely and take a gander around the 'net to see what turns up.

Etelegate 06-27-2006, 04:57 PM Dear webmasters, We would like to clear the air about a few issues. First off we (Etelegate) are not IBill, Volpay, or any others.
We are not a re-brand of Ibill and have nothing to do with the ibill debt/notes payable, or any other ibill issues.
We are a completely seperate payment processor that has been around for years. Our reputation has been declining ever since we licensed a subgateway to ibill in August.
We are currently providing the complete processing package to all our merchants, and are making payments regularly and on time. IBill transfers were faced with a compliance issue that we brought to their attention 3 months ago. Now, after 3 months, merchants that have made no effort to become compliant are indeed being shut down. It takes minutes to be compliant, and we have paid everyone who has done so.
A full description of the situation is posted on our new forum here: etelegate.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2
Anything short of these facts is a complete fallacy.
To give all webmasters a chance to voice their opinions in an open, constructive manner, we have created the Etelegate forum. Please sign up, ask questions and post comments at will. We are making these posts intending to clear our good name in the situation we have all found ourselves in and hope that you will take a moment to hear our side of the story and grab the facts. Thank you, -Etelegate Staff Etelegate Forum: etelegate.com/forum/
tomxkite 07-13-2006, 04:09 AM We processed through you, got two small payments 3-4 months ago and that was it! Nothing after that.
It burns me up to see that you keep advertising on google and other places to entice more webmasters to process with you so you can steal more money!
I have communicated with at least 5 other webmasters who have had the same experience.
I followed your "forum" and I don't think you helped anybody there. You just delete the posts you don't like and go back to stuffing more money in your own pockets.

They have to pay me a payout of 24.000 USD and was disappered.
I have sent them a lot of emails to request this payment and to refund the 10% , but nobody answer me.
kenwood328 09-08-2006, 07:10 PM Etelegate, maturbill, universal payment, they're the same, stolen me over $5000!!
those guys suck!
Lebanon 09-08-2006, 07:16 PM i used them once, i regret i ever did :)
Payment never sent out, even after like few months, i got an email of response of a ticket 'a very old ticket' that my money will be sent out, i was like, wow forgotten money, but seems its just a reply for a ticket no more, since i got nothing to my bank account :!
Anyway, i would still recommend that company for webmasters whom i dont like :D
Ededas2 09-19-2006, 03:01 AM What is the current situation with Etelegate. Can anyone tell us if they are now paying funds or what is the current status?
Lebanon 09-19-2006, 08:50 AM still now paying ,am not expecting them to pay old funds anyway :!
I would be surprised if i ever found a wire of the money processed with them
Ededas2 09-19-2006, 09:24 AM So they are paying on new transactions but not on old amounts? Is that right?
Lebanon 09-19-2006, 02:36 PM i wouldnt know that i only tried them for one month becuase of the hundred emails they sent me with a different offer each time i respond with my excuse, they even started with an offer to give me a gateway for 1500$ then i said why should i when i can get a thirdparty , and so on, till i did , so in that month i processed 1200$ , after their calculation (cant udnerstand a heck of it) my net was 600$ , i didnt care i just decided to let it go , but they never sent out the money and each time i emailed them before about it they just said , ibill clients contact ibill so i had to repeat over and over i am not ibill (as if they didnt know) they are theives and i stand for it !
snnrng 10-26-2006, 11:40 PM till now no payments came in?
all other etelegate victims please share your views
we have $30000 approx to get
mdrussell 10-28-2006, 01:15 PM etelegate used to regularly spam me. But who in their right mind would use a company that showed very few verifiable details eg address, phone number, country and place of incorporation, etc?
If you are willing to risk your business with someone like that, this happens.
snnrng 10-29-2006, 04:52 AM true, that etelegate is not authentic
but what is the possible way to retrive the funds from them
i would also like to hear from all the people whose funds are holded by etelegate
frameRelay 10-29-2006, 10:18 PM etelegate owes us around $17k USD, and thats after their convoluted calculations... our records show closer to $30k for what its worth...
a couple of weeks ago they out of the blue sent out a torrent of emails to every user they had from our old customer database (illegally passed to them from iBill i should add, we *never* signed up w/ Etelegate). they started charging our old customers right away and we have been instructing each one to do a chargeback/reversal against them.
i even went as far as to promise each old customer a free two months for each successfull chargeback as an incentive... anything that hurts Etelerape and their recent acquired UK gateway is worth it in my book. but forget your money, your never going to recover from this rogue operation..
2020hosting 11-01-2006, 04:23 AM yes.. etelegate still have $2500 my money! they not transfer to my accout... one of his answer is have bank problem!
DONT use this company!

snnrng 08-31-2007, 11:02 AM can anyone share how to go about having a legal action against etelegate
they have about $30K since 2005
they never reply to mails neither pay up the funds
crag_hack 09-13-2007, 02:40 AM Hi All,
I've heard FBI started investigations with them...
Yep, those guys have stolen lots of our funds, however you can submit a report to Internet Crime Complaint Center (ic3.gov), here's direct link to the form: https://complaint.ic3.gov/Default.aspx
The more guys will complaint- the more probability that actions will be taken.
All the best!
