not sure have'nt heard anything good or bad about them, as far as having a dedicated ip over virtual hosting over a shared ip no you will not notice any difference assuming its on the same server.

I've heard some good things about them, also that they seem to host a lot of "blog" type sites. As far as IP's go, you may want to do a search on the forums but unless you are concerned with SSL or Anonymous FTP then you really have no need for a dedicated IP. There are a few other rare cases you might need one but these are the two biggies.

I have one site at CyberPixels and another site hosted elsewhere that has a dedicated IP. I notice no difference in load time at all. Speed seems to be more affected by what is on the page - graphics slow things down the most.

So far I've only had one trouble ticket at CyberPixels. They were very quick to respond and fix it. I haven't had any trouble tickets with my other host so I have nothing to compare to.

External DoS attacks have been a slight problem but they're working to prevent any more of those.

Overall, I give them two thumbs up (and sorry that I don't have anymore thumbs than that).

I have one site hosted with them and I couldn't be happier. There was some downtime because of the dos attacks, but they did a really good job of taking care of it quickly. :D I have to say their support is excellent as well.. on the rare occasions that there's been a problem, I've usually gotten a response within 20 minutes.

I have an account with them that I have had for a few weeks now... I can't say that I have any complaints... there were a couple of instances of downtime, but nothing major and it was still better than my previous host.
The speed is good and their support is very fast... I've had support requests in with them for little things that I just didn't know about and it took them less than 15 minutes to respond in all cases and this was at all different times of the day as well.
I am so much happier with them than with my previous host.

I just signed up with cyberpixels yesterday because so many of my webfriends use them and they told me all the great stuff about them. Just a quick question for those who use cyberpixels: About how long after your confirmation letter was your site propgated (spelling)? They told me it would be up in about 12 to 72 hours, and so far it hasn't even been 5 hours, but I am just wondering. Thanks!

Full domain propagation is 72 hours. If it propagates sooner, then you're in luck. If not, just wait.

You can still view your site through this url - http://www2.cyberpixels.com/~yourusername/

does anyone know if they support multiple domains?

ie domain.com goes to my root directory
but domain2.com goes to a subdirectory inside my root dir.

thanks

Yup they do. They have two ways of multi-hosting.

1) Like you pointed out
2) Split your account into two or more accounts.

Like you have mainaccount.com has 100 of everything.
You wanna add seconddomain.com, you can split that 100 into 50-50, 70-30, anyway you want.

So you'll have two accounts after splitting it up. They have this explaination int their FAQ/Knowledge Base.
