Uses kar**eacrest@yahoo.com email address to sign up, and uses paypal to make payment - the domain is registered elsewhere, and he redirects nameservers to the hosting company's account. Pays for a month's fee only, as he knows that he will probably be immediately prosecuted.
He uses a php script to process the spam, the script takes the text file coming through post method and processes it into an array that is later used to send mail through php's mail function. Which is, you know, the way with spammers in wide practice.
He sends 25 000 + emails in an instance.
The event was recorded by our modified sendmail agent that logs every email outgoing thorugh any script.
When contacted, demanding that he have been sending bulk email unnoticed, and in a fashion that the subscribers' opted-in status can not be verified and he should provide proof that the recipients have opted in to this list, he provided no answer.
His account was suspended and shortly will be deleted.
I would advise any host refrain from providing service to this spammer.
