Dear all,
I sell software, and use order forms embedded inside the executable.
Upon payment, I rely on the payment provider to auto return to the order form (ie the software), and that is when any software locks are removed. (Trial version becomes full).
Paypal does this, but I don't know of any other providers who do.
Also, if there is a provider who does this and also runs some sort of affiliate program, that'd be really great.
Any thoughts on this?
thanks,
Jaxz
I’m talking about support for a redirection feature (a "link back" url) that allows you to redirect the customer to a page of your choice AFTER SUCCESSFUL PAYMENT.
For instance, you can redirect the customer (only after successful payment completion) to a “secret” page of your choice (eg, at your site) where you provide golden content.
Paypal supports this.

I don't know of one who does AND provides an affiliate program but depending on the software is there any potential to simply incorporate one of the billion and three PayPal enabled affiliate scripts as it's parsed?
There are, I'll look if I must, some who will sell your software for you as an affiliate type program and pay through PayPal I suspect. I was JUST at a site that offered that service the other day and I'm *almost* sure it was pay as you earn instead of a monthly fee type of thing. It seems to me that you can likely code it so that it simply checks the server (it's not spyware so long as it's not taking private information) to check which affiliate is credited...
