Would many people be interested enough to purchase this type of plan? I want serious opinions before I do more research and consider it.

ClusterMania 05-28-2002, 01:48 PM It's Cogent and it great for software site and any kind of sites that require huge downloads. No contracts, you leave if you don't like the speed. I am that confident about my Cogent connection. You can have you own opinions about Cogent, I don't mind. I have been on it for 6 months and it's been solid. jaawi 05-28-2002, 03:26 PM with or without setup cost ? IP for the test, information about location, HD , Software and all what you can give about this offer Andy dektong 05-28-2002, 03:43 PM Originally posted by ClusterMania I am that confident about my Cogent connection. But take a look at this thread (http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=51882) where people are having funny results with cogent (and I have not seen this with UUNet, ATT, etc). I think I don't have too much confident with cogent like you, but perharps it was just me. Good server offer, btw ... cheers, ClusterMania 05-28-2002, 04:55 PM http://www.verifast.net/trace.jpg I am a small company. I am sure allot of small companys start out small but I am honest. I am in Santa Clara in a carrier hotel. (Clear Blue tech) aka Colo.com I have a full 100Mbit connection with Cogent and will add BGP in the future. You can't compare peering of Cogent with peer of UUNet, ATT, etc. The price difference is too big. I am trying to get feedback before I go ahead and do this. Setup fee will be $100. I have allot of colo space and extra bandwidth which I don't need. I don't intend to get so low that I end up loosing money. Thanks I have gotten Cannot Find Server with WHT a few times myself. |
