I'm a newbie here so excuse my ignorance. I am looking for a host for a personal site. We are expecting a baby soon and I thought it would be nice to have a site to post pictures and news for our family and friends to view. I've done some searces and am considering site5 and dominet. I would like to keep the price under $10/month. I don't really need more than one domain, and I would not want any more than 3. POP e-mail seems to be included in all the plans I have looked at. Any opinions on these hosts? Any others out there I should look at? What kind of storage space should I be looking at for a site like this? Would 50MB be enough? What about traffic limitations, what is a good ammount for what I want to do? Is cgi-bin pretty much standard with all plans? What else should I be looking for? THANK YOU in advance for your help.

Well what you're looking for is pretty simple and it would be about $5 by my guess for a good plan..(p/m)

If it is just going to be shared with family and friends, 50mb of space and 1-2gb of bandwidth would certainly be plenty for just pictures. If each is 100k, then you would have room for 500 in a 50mb account, for example. If 20 people viewed every single photo that would be 50mb x 20 = 1gb transfer.
