Hi..I want to install plesk 8 with mysql 4.0 not 4.1,but how to?

default plesk 8 is installed with mysql4.1,but i really don't want it, can i chage it to 4.0

Install a 2nd instance of mysql. I've just done it on a Plesk 8 machines with 4.1 and 5.x.

You add the 2nd instance on a different port, socket, pid, then add it to the list of server as a foreign db connected with the different port. Enable local networking.

Don't know why you would want to do this though as everyone else try to migrate to 4.1.x or 5.0.x

4.1 seems did't support it as well as 4.0

What about 5? If 5 support UTF8 as well, go for 5 and get the extra features :)
