I'd advise anyone looking for webhosting to bypass Gearhost. I was hosted with them a while back and I cancelled my hosting because of horrible support. After several emails and telephone calls to their toll-free number, I decided to cancel. I received an email from one of their people asking if they could offer som free hosting just to stay with them. I declined. My account stayed open for another couple of weeks, then they billed me again and cancelled my account that day. Yet again, I contacted them by email and telephone wondering where's my refund, and also why they keep billing me after I cancelled. I was forwarded to Ryan Kekos' voicemail everytime I talked to billing about the issue and it was never resolved. I never received an email back nor a phone call after constantly trying to get in contact with them for months. I advise ANYONE looking for hosting, to check out other message boards besides this one to find out what Gearhost is about.

For those who are in doubt whether you're with them or not, Ryan's reputation precedes him. This has not only happened to me but to several people. If you're with them, I advise you to find another host. Somethings are too good to be true. Gearhost is one of them!

To make sure that people know what they are 'really' like.
