Network and Datacenter:

Datacenter. Our datacenter is located in downtown Tampa, Florida, inside a world-class building enabling us the ability to expand our datacenter at any time. The datacenter contains 10,000 square feet of available space for racks, cabinets, cages, and private suites. With 200 watts of power per square foot, 1.8 megawatts, feeds from multiple energy grids and 60 minutes UPS battery time at peak load, as well as diesel generators, you can be sure your server will remain powered on at all times, even in the event of a power outage. Network. Our network is enormous and fast. We have over 6 gbps of available throughput, with more bandwidth being added almost every month, to ensure that we stay far ahead of our customer's usage. The network consists of 2 transit providers: Level3 Communications and Cogent Communications. Each transit provider is connected to our network via BGP4 and monitored 24x7. If either of the providers go down, the other will immediately begin routing all traffic away from the offline provider. We have 3 OC-48 fiber connections. When you combine all this with redundant Cisco routers, you can rest peacefully knowing your server will have the ultimate redundancy.

The connection speed does not need to be increased as I am positive that it is not our network. It could be a faulty switch port, it could be a duplex mismatch, it could be your network not being fast enough for our network. This is why I suggested you PM me a speed test and also to open a ticket.

I am about 5 hours past a 48 hour setup. I have emailed direct about it, to ask if the 48 hours promised in this ad would be accomplished and did not get a response. (Around 8 hours ago)

Hello your server should be setup shortly. If not tonight, then definetely tomorrow. Also, your server was ordered on Memorial Day, which is a national holiday and unfortunately the technicians who setup servers were not working at this time.

We have our own deadlines to meet. We cannot wait past a promised time for the product to be delivered. We filed a PayPal resolution claim 4 hours ago (4 hours ago might seem a little unreasonable to some, but we have read in other threads about 24/7 support and since the PayPal emails were sent in the middle of the business day we feel 4 hours is adequate) with no response we have filed to receive a refund and will move on.

Some might think this is something we should send via JHServers support channel, but the only responses we can get are in this forum or via PM on WHT and we are not allowed to send support requests via their helpdesk. Also people should know that 48 hours may not be enough time if you are ordering a server, so plan your deadlines around a longer time frame.

Thanks for the response and the telephone call. We will keep the server with you for the offer you had made. For other people reading, I was told there was an email mix up on the account information, so at this point we will consider this resolved.

I am hoping the "Bargain Server" will work out and be enough to do our DNS backup.
