Hi there
I was tempted by uk2.net's offer of a RaQ at £25 per month... then i discovered that you have to pay upfront for 3 years!.
I'm now tempted by the colocation service but i'm not sure weather to trust them
I was wondering if anybody colocates with UK2 and if so, weather they would recomend them???
thanks :-)

I can't find the deal.
However, I found
12 pounds + VAT per week for a RAQ and the bandwidth 250 GB for a year.
:D
a little bit tricky

I have heard a lot of bad things about UK2Net. Especially about them misleading customers and holding domains as a hostage so you continue to use their services. I don't however have any personal experience with them.

Last I heard on the UK2.net RAQs was that there were extra charges for each domain added to it. If you do a search of these forums you should be able to find out about it. I would also recommend a search on Google for the issue as well, as I know there are a couple of sites out there dedicated to the UK2.net RAQs.

UK2 charge per week, not per month..therefore it is about 50 pounds a month..

i'm still pretty sure you have to pay for 3 years in advance which works out at £900 :P

check uk2raq.com, a site maintained by many uk2.net users. they have valuable info on uk2.net and on how to maintain your raq. maybe you can get first-hand info there.
