Hello,

I am have a online Towel Store called towelsdepot, we are a manufacturer & distributor of towels. I know I am at a wrong place you all are related to web hosting industry.

Well I need to ask you all one thing, I have heard good things about CDG Commerce in this forum, I have Paypal Web Pro from where I accept credit cards, I am paying Paypal $20 a month, and some very nominal transaction fees is CDG Commerce cheaper than Paypal like transaction rate as well as on monthly rates.

Please let me know, I have no chargebacks no disputes, as people only buy Towels on my online store and thats all.

Thanks

Due to the forum TOS on self promotion, I am a little limited in how I can respond here. :)

However, I will answer in general that the benefit of any direct merchant - whether it be from CDGcommerce or another provider - is that all sales funds are deposited directly into your local bank account unlike any 3rd party processing structure.

All handling of funds on a direct merchant account are also always handled by an FDIC-insured financial institution as opposed to being funded to a 3rd party and then having a 3rd party be responsible for depositing the funds into your account.

In terms of a cost comparison, the best way to compare costs is to have an analysis done on a complete statement - or set of monthly statements. That is the only way to get a true understanding of all of the fees that might apply with an existing arrangement and then do a "what-if" comparing it to a new solution.

Just keep in mind that if a merchant's volume is say - $1,000-2,000 per month - there generally won't be any dramatic cost savings (in actual dollars) between one processing solution and another.

As the volume grows, little differences can really add up in a big way but for lower processing volumes you're really talking about just a few dollars one way or the other in most cases.
