Hello, I need a program that will force ads, like ipanel, only i need for it to be free.

I would like for it to let me beable to force ads, work with cpanel, rotate between a pool of ads.

Please post if you know anything that will do this for me.

i do not know of any free ones out there. If you submit a ticket maybe we can work something out for a ipanel license

How much of deal could you do for us? I do not want to spend to much on offering free hosting.

You can do this with the apache module called mod_layout. It's a little tricky to get it working though. What is the control panel that you are using?

Have you checked the cPanel forums? There are several threads about this topic and the mod_layout module.

This is ok if you get it to work but does no good if you are hosting sites that you don't want the ads on unless you plan on manually adding the tags to each new account

Hey,
Look into mod_layout, which is an Apache Module, that forces all pages to have a header or footer of your choice. From there make a header file that has some php code to rotate between ads.

Google mod_layout.

And as addition on moe88's post, just make sure this php code (or any other code) also excludes any paying sites so you don't have them on there ;)

Kindest regards,
Patrick

Well the only kind of deal i could make as you are seeking me out is i have a whole new version in beta stages right now that has limited documentation that i would be willing to let you have a trial license for 45 days to help test out and after the 45 days make a 50% payment of the full list price on our site.

I am working on the new documentation but need to make sure all the bugs are worked out. We have done extensive testing on our end and need to have some various testing done with different server configurations to make sure there are no missed issues.

i open this offer up to anyone but will only accept certain people that will meet the different server configurations from what we are running and already tested on.

Will you also help me with the installation? Since this is a beta products with no or limited docs. Will it be easy to install? I'm new with this and really appreciate your help. If this works out, then IPanel good names will spread out more.

Thank you.

The installation documentation is completed. it's the setup/features that are limited.

The installation is quite simple so i don't think our help would be needed there. You will need to have root access for the forced ads and also mod_layout with ddbug turned off installed as we do not do this.

Please sign up for a 10 day free trial of ihost and submit a support ticket with this thread deatails and we will add the 45 day license.
