How long does it take for an account to be set up at Netacore?

Hi,

I have received my account information, and have a question -

When I registered, I chose the username "vostok" .. my information e-mail says that my username is "stranger," which does not work when I try to FTP or, well, anything of course. However, if I login with the name I chose, "vostok" I can login fine. It doesn't really matter since vostok is what I chose anyway and I thought "stranger" was a bid odd, but I was just wondering.

Unless the host wasn't responding to your emails, why bring this here? Give the host at least a day to respond before coming here. Think about it, if everyone that had a minor question for their host posted it in this forum like you did, the forum could not contain them all. It's also unfair to the host, making them look bad when they may not be.

My apologies. I simply cannot see how in any way I made this company look bad by asking one very simple question, that regarding how long accounts take to be set up. No one else seemed to have a problem with it, and being that it was Sunday and Memorial Day weekend, it was my assumption that I might be able to get a response faster by having posted here, where other Netacore customers might be able to answer as well, as opposed to e-mailing a sales department who was not likely working that late at night AND on a holiday weekend.

It would appear that I made the wrong choice. :rolleyes:

Now if you are referring to my post about the usernames being incorrect, I still cannot see how this makes a company look bad. It was a quarter past 12:00AM when my information was sent, and seeing as how this company is in New York, one would assume that is where they are processing my information, thus making it even later (or earlier, you're choice) in the morning than here. I would imagine it had been quite a long, tiring night, but was curious as to why my usernames were mixed up. Nothing harmful, just a very simple (and simply fixed) mistake.

When you post host questions here that should be directed to your host, it appears to others that your host is failing to respond to your emails since mailing the host is the 1st thing that should be done, and that makes them look bad and cost them business.

And why should such a question be directed towards my host? I'm sure I'm not the first person who has asked something as simple as this about other companies. I still do not see a problem and feel that my post was fully justified... especially since you seem to be the only one who has a problem with my having posted this.

And I've already outlined why I did not e-mail first. Sunday, 12:00AM (as in, when it is dark outside), Memorial Day weekend. It is now Monday, Memorial Day, and I personally am not working, so why would a sales staff be working on Sunday late night, Memorial Day weekend?

well my Netacore account was set up within 1/2 hours as they are online.

Thanks, mine has been set up now too :) It was late last night, I posted asking this because I wanted to know approximately how long it would have been so I would know how long I had to stay awake in order to play around with it, or if it was going to be a day before it was finished, so that I could just go to sleep instead of waiting for no reason :) :D

5 Hours since i registered with netacore and my account has yet to be setup..... Hmmm ....don't know how long must i wait. I though it will be set-up in 2 hrs time just like all of you had mentioned ?

Is he online when setting up new server? If so you can ask him about the status

Went for a tour in my account, everything were setup nicely.
One thing i'm very very surprise is the speed that i manage to obtain during downloading. The speed is comparable compared to my local host (n singaporre). Anyway, thanks for your help and ya prompt reply.

Oh my main site is also with a local SIngapore web host.
