Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to post an update to my earlier post. I know most of you just brushed it off, but here is what is going on.
I am currently working with Sprint and their Engineers on a plan to bring in either a couple DS3 lines or OC3 line (Figuring out what is more economical). I am also working with WorldCom on the backup T-1 lines.
As far as the deal I offered I have had to change it, as we know, there is a big difference between Cogent Bandwidth and Sprint bandwidth! Here is the deal I am now offering:
2 Mbps Dedicated line burstable to 45Mbps (about 650GB of monthly traffic)
32 IPs (If you need more, I will give you special pricing)
24/7 Online Tech Support
24/7 Toll-Free Phone Support starting within 2 months of when I launch
24/7 Reboots/Monitoring
DNS
UPS Backup and Power Generators
This is available to the fist 15 people for $125. I will not charge a setup fee and if you pay for one year in advanced, I will give you two months free! About a 17% savings!
For those people who will be offering Web Hosting, we will offer the use of our toll free tech support to your customers for a small monthly fee around $10 to $20 a month. If you are not a current client with us, and would like to offer that service to your customers, we will be offering that service for $40 a month. With our telephone support, our name will not be mentioned, we are completely in the background. And that is for unlimited calls in for all of your customers.
As far as the Web hosting control panels go, I will soon be contacting all the major companies to see what pricing I can offer, so if you do need a control panel, we can keep that in house. I am also in contact with a group of developers that are creating a free control panel, which will offer everything from Admin, Reseller, and End-User control panels.
My web site will be up and running soon. It will list in detail everything you will want to know. In the mean time if you have any questions please send me an email, PM, or call me at 1 877 305 4678 (US) 1 440 205 2032 (Outside of US). You can reach me by phone almost anytime, if I am not in, I list an alternate number on my voice mail which you can reach me at anytime day or night. I do plan on offering Dedicated hosting soon and Reseller accounts, that info will be listed on the web site when launched!
