Anyone else get their Adwords credits from ModernBill already?
I was talking to the guys over there today and they gave me a code for $250 worth of Google AdWords credits just for having an owned license. I imagine it'll take a while to pass these out, but if you haven't gotten a call from them yet they do link through to an info/signup page from their site if you're interested and/or impatient. If done right, the credits can be stretched out to provide a decent number of leads -- unless you're the ambitious type who targets $100 keywords. :P It's a pretty generous offer though and with a combination of targeted keywords and a basic knowledge of SEO, it should be able to last you a good while.
The interesting part is that it's a two part incentive in that they also give hosts credits to pass along to their own customers, which should help level the playing field so to speak for the smaller/midsize host when it comes to promotions (GoDaddy and ipowerweb are two big boys that come to mind). Of course this takes away some of the creativity, but if they're giving it away then why pass it up, right?
Anyway, it's a nice touch for them to reach out to their customers like this.. now they need to get v5 out the door and we'll be all set, hah!
