Too many people are using WebPosition Gold and search engines are design to pick up on particular patterns and ban them accordingly. I wouldn't say all products related to SEO sucks, but if you were going to use a product that a wealth of spammers and other lazy people uses, you'll likely get banned when search engines like Google picks up on the pattern that WebPosition uses to generate it's pages. The best approach would be to design your own PHP/PERL to generate your pages for you that way you insure yourself that you are unique in the layout of the keywords and phrases. You may want to check out a very good site on SEO, http://www.searchengineforums.com viGeek 05-26-2002, 11:57 PM WebPosition GOLD, its definately not work it. The best way to optimize your website would be to manualy do it. Read through the tutorials at www.apromotionguide.com And follow the steps. What works on Google: Being listed in DMOZ.ORG Google LOVES quality content, try to build pages rich in content. Remember to put the keyword your aiming for somewhere on the page in bold. Keep your title short. Exchange links with people (basic a href links no banners, sometimes try to include a keyword in the link) This has been prooven to work, over and over again. No software or company will magically change your site rank in a perticular search engine over night or even in a month. the best way to do it, is to do it manually and wait and add content. Eventually over the months your site will gain rank on perticular keywords. |
