Hi
I'm looking at aquiring an existing reseller account that is currently with:
hostingplace.co.uk. they look pretty good, have only a few mentions in wht
but none about there reseller services.
So in a nutshell does anybody have experience of hostingplace.co.uk

Thanks
Brian

Hi

no response means no one has any experience ;)

try doing a search using the search button on the forums and see does anyone have any experience with this host or reviews.

Hi
Yes I did a search here, but not very fruitful.
I did some 'sideways' searching as well,
you get free WHMCS included in the hosting, which is rather good, but Im more interested in other peoples experience, stability, support etc.
I know they are not Big, but that suites me.

I suppose the good news is nobody is jumping up & down and saying
anything negative.

Cheers
Brian

Well i have just found out they have changed hands, i tryied contact who i thought to be the same owner MATT to say sorry you need to speak to new owner!!!

I'M NOT HAPPY AT ALL, no new info has be provided to me on who the new owner is or how to get hold of he/she.

I now have a domain name in my name i can no longer gain access to other than to goto nominet direct which i have to pay for. I have been trying to contact hostingplace.co.uk for 4 months now with emails and no getting bounce backs with mail box full..

It seems that it has no review I can find. Well, if you are ok and can rely on host that doesn't have review to consider, that will be fine.
However, when you want to choose a host, you actually need to look at some reviews :)

As the OP of this thread, I felt oblidged to say that my time with hostingplace.co.uk was fine,
but I sold on the account I had with them before Matt sold out [I assume to concentrate on whmcs].
Often New owners can get in a bit of a mess finding out first hand how the business operates, so there may be some patients needed.

I would Gues Matt had an arrangement for the new owner to contact the customers, thats not materialised.

Maybe Matt or the new owner should/could post here.
