No, we run all of them, the network is on bgp4, so it balances out traffic, and also puts you on the best route for where you are. This may be the reason of why you are getting those results.

Hello, yes i am positive we currently colocate our space from Tim ( paradise designs ) you may know him, you can ask him to clearify this. I will check into it as far as he told me those are the providers.

Hello,
The providers are Yipes,Level3, Genuity in Dallas,Texas. However, Yipes is the main provider and there is a backup if Yipes goes down. However, at this current time Level3 and Genuity are not plugged in but they will be as what I'm told.

Ah, i guess there was a mis-understanding with Tim, and the DC. Well now we all know how it is routed. The deal is officially closed, untill are next shipment of servers we sold out. You can expect, some new servers coming in, with a new deal within next month. Thank you all who chose hostNOX.

We currently have some reselling & hosting account specials currently if you are interested email info@hostnox.com for more information on this, untill it is released in WHT.

Sorry to push this, but what is/are the backup providers? You are running yipes and Level3/Genuity is not yet turned on. So, are you running backup on qwest? And is the qwest/yipes being setup using BGP? I am tracerouting from InterNAP where qwest is also one of the backbone, but the traceroute always gets through via yipes, not qwest.

It's hard to see if this is truely a multi-homed setup or if you are truely running backup lines other than yipes.

cheers,

Are you a interstered client for HostNOX in this special or just trying to figure stuff out?

just trying to figure one out ... might be interested later but only if I know there is a good backup lines or if the datacenter is multihomed becauses from what I heard, yipes is really in financial trouble ...

Do you find my question regarding backup lines offensive?

cheers,

Yipes by itself is not multi-homed bandwidth. It does allow you to have access to multiple providers, but if the Yipes routers or fiber goes down, you're out of luck without a separate provider like Qwest.
