I just setup on hosting company.I am going to advertise to let more people know us.When I ask some web hosting dir. ,I was surprised that the minium order is $100.And google also changed the Adwords to pay-per-cilck.One click about $5 dollars.I just want to give max $15 per month because I don't have money for expensive advertising now.what am I afraid is I can't find any clients after advertising.
Is there any cheaper to avdvertise?

I do the following:
1) Add myself to FREE webhosting dirs
2) Take out classified business ads in local papers (very cheap)
3) Offer local businesses basic service in exchange for letting you post flyers in their store/offices.
4) Find local events and groups that you can use to your benefit. I have colleagues that give local computer companies special offers that they can package with computers and such. And I personally just found a local golf tournement that was looking for sponsors. I provided a door prize and will now have my business mentioned when it is given out, will be in their program, and was able to provide then with flyers for use in a grab bag.
Hope this helps

Your best bet is to get your first customers through forums like this one... pamper the hell out of them... then word of mouth will take over from there!
Trust, customer service in this business is key... keeping a site up and running is key. Customers don't care about anything else but having a site up and running and some e-mail support when something does not work as it should.
It will take some time to grow, but you will...

I figure (without asking my customers) that quite a few have come from here. But the problem with the advertising forums is that most companies are doing deals at "wholesale" prices which smaller companies cannot compete withe too well.
Word of mouth advertising seems to work well. Don't forget to asky any customers you get for referrals. That is a big part of our business. We actively ask for new customers from existing ones.

is a great resource. They sell off ad space in opt-in e-mail newsletters that enable you to really target the heck out of your ad. First time I used them, I had three new accounts the next day for an ad I spent $20 on. Not too bad, considering that each account at the time sold for around $150 plus setup.
